Organizers with GreenSpaces will present the third annual Rooftop Hop Saturday.
The event encourages the public to “hop” to five different rooftop locations and learn about how each promotes sustainable living in Chattanooga. At the same time, guests will enjoy signature cocktails and plenty of gourmet food from local eateries.
Rooftops are open from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are still available at all levels for the event. Click here for information.
Because of the potential for inclement weather, the main event has been relocated from the CitiPark garage to the Hunter Museum of American Art.
“We have a rain backup plan for all locations,” Dawn Hjelseth, director of development for GreenSpaces, said. “It’s still happening … Most of them are just moving inside.”
The main event at the Hunter Museum will feature 15 restaurants showcasing locally crafted foods to accompany Chattanooga Whiskey and Corsair gin cocktails.
Futurebirds live from Georgia Theater
Fans of Athens, Georgia’s Futurebirds will be treated to an evening of controlled chaos from the band during the main event programming.
Hop locations include High Point Climbing and Fitness, Hunter Museum, The Chattanoogan Hotel, CitiPark garage and a fifth location to be announced during the event.
The double-decker bus and Bike Chattanooga will be available for transportation to and from locations.
And to add even more to the table, an official after-party will take place at Rhythm & Brews. This party is open to the public and features Chattanooga’s Broke Down Hound and Matt Stephens Project.
All proceeds will benefit GreenSpaces, which promotes sustainable living, working and building in the Chattanooga area.
